Mechanical Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Robotics and Automation team in Toulouse. You will help develop innovative industrial robotic stations and production lines that address complex challenges in aeronautics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate jigs and tools for industrial lines using CATIA V5.
• Perform mechanical dimensioning, static and dynamic stress analysis.
• Create electrical and pneumatic schematics in e‑plan.
• Conduct safety risk assessments, ergonomic analyses and SISTEMA calculations.
• Validate specifications for robotic solutions and ensure compliance with aeronautical standards.
• Coordinate external suppliers for design, documentation, installation and maintenance planning.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in jigs and tools integration for industrial lines.
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering and related technologies.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and e‑plan.
• Ability to solve problems creatively in a fast‑paced environment.
