Systems & Application Engineer – Mobile Machinery Solutions

About the role

As a Systems & Application Engineer you will help customers create high‑performing mobile machinery by integrating Danfoss hydraulic and electronic control technologies. Working remotely with regular travel across Northwest France, you will act as a trusted technical advisor and drive innovative system solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers to define technical requirements and develop optimized hydraulic and electronic system solutions.
• Provide pre‑sales technical support, including presentations, demonstrations, and training.
• Design, size, validate, and troubleshoot application solutions using Danfoss products.
• Conduct machine testing and performance verification on‑site and at Danfoss facilities.
• Share market trends, technical requirements, and application insights with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in application engineering, preferably in mobile off‑highway equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronic control systems, communication networks, and software‑based control solutions.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects and work directly with customers in a consultative environment.
• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
