Strategic Partnerships Manager – France

About the role

We are hiring a Strategic Partnerships Manager based in France to lead OpenAI’s partnership strategy for the French market and contribute to broader EMEA initiatives. The role involves identifying, developing, and executing collaborations that accelerate adoption of OpenAI’s products across enterprise, developer, and consumer channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own partnership strategy and execution for France, driving end‑to‑end development and delivery while supporting EMEA priorities.
• Negotiate and close strategic local and cross‑border deals covering commercial terms, product scope, data/privacy, branding, incentives and expansion paths.
• Lead senior partner relationships, building trust, aligning joint value propositions and managing complexity.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, Legal, Policy and regional teams to align roadmaps and execute initiatives.
• Define success metrics, assess progress, surface risks and communicate outcomes to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, business development or general management within the technology industry.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Proven track record of leading high‑impact local and international partnerships, including complex cross‑border collaborations.
• Deep understanding of the French market and experience operating across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical instincts and ability to use data to inform decisions and communicate impact.
