Senior Software Engineer (Python/TypeScript)

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will design, build and maintain both client‑side interfaces and server‑side architecture for Lithosquare's Geology OS. You will deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions that combine agentic AI, cartography, 3D modelling and automated report generation to support complex mineral exploration workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the Geology OS, designing and maintaining scalable full‑stack components.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with React, integrating cartography, 3D visualisations and interactive data.
• Build robust back‑end APIs and services in Python that connect to front‑end and third‑party platforms.
• Integrate agentic AI systems, including LLM‑driven chat, AI‑generated 3D models and automated report creation.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, geologists and other engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Participate in technical design decisions for both front‑end and back‑end architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code and ensure code quality.
• Deploy, monitor and operate full‑stack services in production.

Required profile

• Strong programming background with deep experience in Python back‑end development.
• Extensive experience building front‑end applications with React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and modern full‑stack architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with AI systems, large language models and agentic approaches.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional team and communicate technical decisions.
• Based in Paris with flexibility for remote work.
