Senior Business Analyst – Mining (Remote)

About the role

Tether is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep mining sector expertise to support M&A advisory and investment banking activities. You will bridge geological knowledge with commercial and financial analysis, evaluating mining assets and transactions across the resources value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on mining assets and companies, integrating geological, technical, and commercial assessments.
• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, NAV, comparable transactions and companies) for mining projects and corporate transactions.
• Analyze mineral resource and reserve statements (JORC, NI 43‑101, or equivalent) and assess their commercial implications.
• Prepare investment memoranda, valuation reports, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and evaluate new mining‑related opportunities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in mining finance, M&A advisory, or investment banking.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize technical geological data into commercial insights.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
