People Associate Internship – HR Operations

About the role

Join Alan’s People team as a People Associate Intern, supporting employee experience, HR operations and automation initiatives. You’ll work closely with the People team to ensure smooth onboarding, handle day‑to‑day HR requests and help build data‑driven processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own pre‑boarding and onboarding operations, ensuring new Alaners feel supported.
• Serve as the first point of contact for everyday HR queries.
• Shadow senior team members and gradually manage simple individual employee situations.
• Coordinate training programmes for leads and coaches, measure impact and iterate.
• Identify manual processes and build automations using Claude and Dust.
• Track People metrics, turn data into clear insights and report findings.
• Write and maintain user‑friendly documentation for self‑service.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about HR and people operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive conversations.
• Analytical mindset with interest in data and automation.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
