Logistics Manager (M/F)

About the role

As the Logistics Manager at Alta Ares, you will own the end‑to‑end logistics function, ensuring that equipment and supplies are available, compliant, and ready for deployment in demanding defence environments across France and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full inventory of airframes, sensors, payloads, ground equipment and spare parts, maintaining an accurate asset‑tracking system.
• Coordinate procurement of packaging, shipping materials, tools and field equipment, and schedule maintenance with engineering teams.
• Oversee the Paris logistics space, ensuring organization, safety compliance and controlled access.
• Plan and execute shipments to Europe, Ukraine, UAE, the US and other destinations, handling customs clearance and export licences.
• Maintain export‑control compliance (AECA, CIEEMG, ITAR) and keep audit‑ready records of licences and end‑user documentation.
• Negotiate rates with freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers, and resolve any customs delays or documentation gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain or related field, preferably in defence or dual‑use equipment.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and export‑control regulations.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, field‑connected environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
