IT Support & Security Apprentice (M/F)

About the role

The IT & Security team supports employees across offices and factories, handling endpoints, corporate systems, security and compliance. As the team builds its foundations – compliance programme, device management migration, detection capability – it seeks an apprentice to contribute across several areas. Level 1 support makes up roughly half of the role in the first year, decreasing as documentation and automation improve.

Key responsibilities

• Level 1 support: handle employee requests, manage accounts and access, prepare devices for new joiners (English support).
• IT documentation: create a documentation process, reusable templates, AI writing assistants, and user/administration guides.
• IT processes: formalise joiner/mover/leaver processes, request handling, hardware lifecycle, and monitor gaps.
• Device management: assist with MDM migration, define configuration profiles, track encryption and updates, maintain asset inventory.
• Security and compliance: participate in annual penetration testing, remediation, access reviews, audit evidence preparation, and third‑party register maintenance.
• Automation and detection: industrialise recurring controls with no‑code tools, contribute to log source onboarding and detection use‑case documentation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the first year of a two‑year master’s programme in cybersecurity, systems & networks, or risk & compliance (or a three‑year degree).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good command of macOS and working knowledge of Windows.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN).
• Basic security knowledge: identity management, MFA, least‑privilege, vulnerability management.
• Comfortable with no‑code automation tools and AI assistants.
• Python or Bash experience is a genuine advantage, especially for verifying AI outputs.
• Rigorous documentation habits, autonomy and a service mindset.
