General Labourer – Farm Operations

About the role

We are looking for a reliable General Labourer to join our farm team during the busy seasonal period. You will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, helping to grow, harvest, and prepare vegetables and melons for market.

Key responsibilities

• Hoe between rows and perform hand‑weeding.
• Clean crops, remove brush, debris, wood and stones from fields.
• Cut, harvest, and pick a range of vegetables, fruits, and seedlings.
• Grade produce by size, shape, colour and volume.
• Pack, sort and load crates of harvested produce.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Write daily progress reports and inspect product quality.
• Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and assist with irrigation.
• Transport supplies and produce using personal vehicle.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• Physically demanding work: standing, bending, kneeling, lifting and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work in wet, dusty, hot, cold or refrigerated environments.
• Fast‑paced, repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Own transportation; public transport not available.
• Availability for early‑morning, evening, night, weekend and on‑call shifts.
