Editorial Executive – French and Belgian Markets

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring an Editorial Executive through its Secret Media Network (SMN) to lead content creation for its expansion into new markets. The role reports directly to the VP of Media and manages a growing team of editors, writers, video producers and social media creatives, covering the French and Belgian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the French and Belgian markets, with 1-on-1 management, clear workflows and individual feedback.
• Craft, communicate and execute a creative vision for the entire Secret Media Network.
• Work with editors, staff writers and the video and social team to maintain high editorial standards and the brand's tone of voice.
• Elevate content in established cities and identify editorial partnership opportunities to reach a wider audience.
• Analyze data for cities in the region using SMN's internal KPIs to inform strategy.
• Coordinate, assign and prioritize editorial work, collaborate with other Fever departments and develop audience-growth strategies.
• Build and optimize a content-driven conversion funnel that drives measurable conversions.

Required profile

• English proficiency and native-level French.
• +5 years of experience in a newsroom, content agency, creative agency or digital media property.
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• Passion for journalism, social media and digital marketing.
• Media mapping expertise and ability to work with advertising, media and TV/animation agencies.
• Knowledge of optimization technologies, AI-driven processes and workflow automation.

Required skills

• Digital fluency across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X and others.
• Preferred: WordPress, Photoshop, Canva and other image/video editing tools.
• Strong writing, presentation and leadership skills.
