E-Business Buying Assistant Intern

About the role

As an E‑Business Buying Assistant Intern you will support Balenciaga’s e‑commerce buying team, gaining hands‑on experience in digital assortment strategy and online retail within a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and analyse weekly/monthly performance reports, highlighting best sellers and key insights.
• Oversee the publishable assortment in collaboration with content and e‑merchandising teams.
• Assist the buying team with order entries, stock movements, replenishment and deliveries based on global performance insights.
• Provide analytical support during showrooms by preparing detailed reports and insights.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and continuously monitor their strategies.
• Provide administrative and ad‑hoc support for merchandise‑related projects and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or enrolled in a Business School program.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.
• Available for a 6‑month paid internship.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset and clear communication skills.
• Well‑organized, resourceful, autonomous and a proactive team player.
• Previous experience in merchandising, buying or e‑commerce, preferably in fashion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
