DevOps Intern

About the role

Alta Ares is building AI‑guided air‑defense interceptors for NATO‑aligned militaries. As a DevOps Intern you will work across cloud, bare‑metal and edge environments, gaining hands‑on ownership of infrastructure that powers mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain multi‑platform infrastructure on GCP, Scaleway, bare metal and IoT devices.
• Write and improve infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible and Packer.
• Provision and operate Kubernetes workloads and automate operational tasks.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Support project teams with architectural guidance on system, networking and security.
• Run proofs of concept and de‑risking studies for tactical and embedded platforms.

Required profile

• Engineering student in Software, Networking or Cybersecurity seeking a 6‑month internship or 1‑year apprenticeship.
• Strong scripting abilities, especially in Python.
• Good understanding of Docker and container concepts.
