Account Manager – Media Sales

About the role

St. Lucia Times is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join its Sales & Marketing team. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships in a fast‑paced media environment, ensuring advertising campaigns are delivered on time and to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with assigned clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact, handling inquiries, concerns and feedback promptly.
• Collaborate with clients to define goals and design media strategies.
• Process booking orders, RFPs, media schedules and advertising plans accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate freelance sales representatives, manage invoicing and ensure timely payments.
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and produce quarterly reports.
• Monitor sales emails and calls, respond to ad booking requests and RFPs swiftly.
• Ensure contract compliance, renewals and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to execute campaigns according to agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the capacity to multitask in a deadline‑driven setting.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable to industry changes and responsive to client needs.
• Knowledge of media and advertising trends and best practices.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.).
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
