Structure Repair Engineer – Customer Services

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Structure Repair Engineer to join its Customer Services team in Toulouse. The engineer will act as a bridge between aircraft operators, design offices, and spare‑parts organisations, ensuring structural integrity and timely repair implementation for commercial aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Answer daily repair queries and provide design documentation support for scheduled maintenance.
• Liaise with design offices to obtain repair definitions and justifications.
• Coordinate with the spare‑parts organisation to secure required repair components.
• Update and initiate structure‑repair documentation.
• Assist operators on‑site with damage evaluation and repair embodiment.
• Maintain information flow between operators and internal teams regarding repair matters.
• Provide engineering support to other Customer Services departments and regional teams.
• Transfer in‑service experience to Airbus design organisations and vendors.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through regular reviews and capacity visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft structural repair or a related aerospace engineering field.
• Strong coordination and leadership abilities to act as an operational focal point.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with operators, design offices, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and support on‑site activities when required.
