Software Engineer - Internal Tools

About the role

Prelude is looking for a Software Engineer to own and develop internal tools that accelerate every team across the company. You will design AI‑powered automation and integrate existing SaaS solutions, helping engineering, ops, sales, support and finance work faster and more reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools used daily by multiple departments.
• Interconnect existing platforms such as HubSpot, Linear, Plain and others.
• Optimize billing calculations and aggregation processes.
• Build AI‑driven workflows to automate repetitive tasks like invoicing, reporting and support triage.
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging AI tools that improve internal efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify friction points.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, high‑impact environment.
• Proactive attitude toward testing, iterating, and learning from outcomes.
