Service Operator (ST Operator) – Wind Farm Maintenance

About the role

Join Vestas, the French leader in wind energy, as a Service Operator (ST Operator) responsible for optimizing wind farms throughout their life cycle. You will work on‑site at Saint Thibault, ensuring turbines operate at maximum capacity while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections on wind turbines according to Vestas specifications, covering electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Area Supervisor and regional team members (technicians, planners, storekeepers) to meet service targets.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, ensuring long‑term loyalty.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards while working at height.

Required profile

• You hold a Youth Training qualification (NVQ Level 1‑2), BTEC First Diploma or a high‑school degree with experience in technical fields such as maintenance, electrical engineering or mechanics.
• Good written and oral technical English.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Autonomous, results‑oriented, good communicator and team player.
• Willingness to travel and work at height.
