Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial & Services Contracts

About the role

ATR is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Legal Directorate. The role supports the Commercial and Customer Support & Services teams by negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts related to aircraft sales, financing, and support solutions in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate Aircraft Sale Agreements and related financing documentation.
• Support structuring of financing and aircraft transfer operations, handling delivery conditions, warranties, penalties, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Finance, and Export Control.
• Draft and negotiate support and services agreements (maintenance, repair, training, technical services).
• Provide legal support to Customer Support & Services teams in operator relationships and service delivery.
• Offer pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice, resolve pre‑litigation matters, and manage contractual disputes.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Law, International Law, or Contract Law.
• 8+ years of experience negotiating complex contracts, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and international contracting practices.
• Professional fluency in English with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
