Regional Controller – France

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Controller to build and lead the finance function for our newly launched French market. Based in Gorron, you will work closely with the local Managing Director and the Group VP of Financial Control, combining monthly reporting with commercial insight to drive cost transparency, COGS control and budget discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records and AR/AP monitoring.
• Control COGS, challenge cost development and support cost‑ownership across operations.
• Manage cash‑flow, budgets and forecasting processes, delivering clean assumptions and timely re‑forecasts.
• Implement pragmatic budget‑vs‑actual tracking and improve analytical reporting on ERP and accounting systems.
• Support KPI, cost‑structure and reporting harmonisation in close collaboration with Group Financial Control.
• Ensure compliance with tax, legal regulations and internal control framework.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in business or financial controlling, preferably in a scale‑up or fast‑moving environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• Experience in cost‑intensive businesses such as FMCG, production or logistics is a plus.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic mindset with the ability to work under ambiguity and drive execution.
