Quality Engineer – Aerospace

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support aerospace quality activities at our Vitrolles site. The role ensures compliance with standards, drives continuous improvement, and works closely with production and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.
• Plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits, including certification audits.
• Analyze non-conformities, lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root‑cause investigations using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa or 5 Whys.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with EN9100, ISO 9001 and related regulations.
• Maintain quality documentation, control records and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as First Pass Yield and NCR rate.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and supply‑chain teams to improve processes and product quality.
• Support customer quality reviews, prepare reports and act as the primary quality contact for customers and certification bodies.

Required profile

• Bac +2/3 with at least 5 years of aerospace quality experience, or Bac +5 with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of aerospace standards such as EN9100, EASA Part 21 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with CAPA processes and root‑cause analysis tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
