Manager, Product Management - Open Finance

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Product Management for its Open Finance team. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data‑driven open finance products, turning market and customer insights into tangible solutions that power secure, simple, and smart transactions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Mastercard’s open finance data products, including sources, enrichment, and behavior.
• Support product leadership by clarifying scope, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Lead early‑stage discovery, define MVPs, and validate assumptions.
• Translate customer, market, and internal needs into clear product requirements and prioritisation.
• Identify gaps, data‑quality issues, and scalability risks in existing products.
• Track product performance, surface insights, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Privacy teams to balance technical constraints, compliance, and user consent.
• Build expertise in open banking, transaction data, and data‑driven product development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; analytical or technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager on technology‑led or data‑driven products.
• Strong curiosity about product technical details and ability to reason about trade‑offs.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Prior experience in open banking or open finance.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and learning quickly.
