Maintenance Manager – Private Villa (South of France)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to oversee all facilities and maintenance operations for a luxury private residence in the South of France. The role combines technical expertise with autonomy and discretion, ensuring the property runs smoothly day‑to‑day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facilities and maintenance activities across the villa.
• Perform electrical and general maintenance repairs personally whenever possible.
• Diagnose faults, implement preventive measures, and address issues before they escalate.
• Source, appoint, and supervise external contractors for specialist tasks.
• Oversee procurement of parts, materials, and services required for upkeep.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Respond flexibly to urgent issues and emergency call‑outs.
• Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and reliability in a private household environment.

Required profile

• Certified electrician with a recognised qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in high‑end residential or luxury properties.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage workloads independently.
• Familiarity with luxury property maintenance is highly desirable.
• Fluent English; French is a strong plus.
• Eligible to work in France.
