Junior Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Junior Area Sales Manager will drive the growth of Parfums de Marly’s fragrance portfolio across selected European markets. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will help position the brand as the leading niche fragrance label in Europe over the next three years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned territory, aligning sales targets with brand‑elevation goals.
• Build a comprehensive business plan covering retail and wholesale forecasts, assortment, CAPEX projects, trade plans and A&P budgets.
• Monitor KPIs (market share, sell‑in/sell‑out, competition, trends) and implement corrective actions to sustain growth.
• Negotiate trade terms, pricing structures and shelf‑space allocations with distributors and retailers.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Managers to design and launch trade‑marketing initiatives, POS animations and incentives.
• Enhance brand visibility through detailed retail network planning and merchandising standards.
• Provide ongoing training and motivation for sales teams and business assistants.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, stock analyses and monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in French is essential; English proficiency is a plus.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment.
• Master’s degree from a recognised business school.
• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to area or territory management.
