Investment Banking Analyst – Technology Team (Paris)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst to join the Technology team of a leading mid‑market investment bank in Paris. The analyst will work at the heart of the deal process, supporting the execution of M&A, ECM and debt advisory transactions for technology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct company valuations and build detailed financial models.
• Prepare materials for client and internal presentations.
• Attend client meetings and liaise with third‑party advisors.
• Perform market, segment and sector analysis for investment opportunities.
• Produce statistical analyses of fund and business performance.
• Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant M&A experience within an investment bank.
• Strong experience or demonstrable interest in the software/technology sector.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge, including three‑statement analysis.
• Exceptional financial modelling and quantitative analysis abilities.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in time‑sensitive, high‑pressure environments.
