Indirect Taxes Expert

About the role

Stellantis is seeking an Indirect Taxes Expert to serve as the primary contact for all indirect tax matters in France. Reporting to the EE Head of Indirect Taxes, you will support the business in a rapidly changing legislative environment, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Handle tax queries from business stakeholders, operational teams, and the Tax Team, providing fast and accurate VAT advice.
• Assess the impact of indirect tax legislative changes, communicate updates, and coordinate implementation with relevant parties.
• Develop and manage the review process for indirect tax compliance for Stellantis French entities and non‑French entities with French VAT registrations.
• Prepare and review indirect tax returns, ensuring timely filing and responding to tax authority inquiries.
• Lead implementation of tax systems and electronic invoicing solutions in France.
• Supervise an Indirect Tax Intern, delegating and reviewing their work.
• Support foreign VAT claims and manage VAT determination for new or changed business flows.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of French indirect tax legislation and VAT regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple geographic locations and functional areas.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate legislative impacts and improve processes.
• Proactive attitude with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
