Global Business Controller – Otometrics

About the role

The Global Business Controller – Otometrics is a senior finance leadership position within Natus, responsible for overseeing international accounting and providing strategic financial partnership to the Hearing & Balance business across Europe and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Hearing & Balance leadership team, delivering insights on revenue, gross margin and operating expenses.
• Lead monthly results reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance management against plan and prior year.
• Own the budget, forecast and strategic planning process for the Hearing & Balance unit, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
• Support product launches, cost‑optimization initiatives and strategic investments through financial modelling and analysis.
• Promote financial discipline, transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
• Provide accounting leadership for international legal entities in Europe and Asia, ensuring statutory compliance and accurate financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, manage audit planning and resolve issues.
• Review accounting judgments, balance‑sheet accounts and close activities to maintain consistency with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with local finance teams and shared services to strengthen internal controls and standardise close processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including work in multinational environments.
• Proven experience with statutory reporting, audits and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
• Strong ability to act as a business partner and translate financial data into actionable insights.
