Frontend Developer

About the role

Scaleway is looking for a Frontend Developer to join its Frontend Engineering team. You will help evolve the cloud management console and create a best‑in‑class developer experience for thousands of customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑facing interfaces using Scaleway’s open‑source Design System.
• Develop reusable, scalable UI components based on UI/UX specifications.
• Integrate frontend code with REST APIs through a fully typed SDK.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to ship high‑impact features.
• Maintain and improve internal frontend libraries such as scaleway‑ui and scaleway‑form.
• Contribute to developer tooling in partnership with the Kernel team.
• Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, testing, and advocacy of frontend best practices.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES2015+).
• Deep understanding of React and CSS‑in‑JS methodologies.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and working with typed SDKs (TypeScript).
• Familiarity with open‑source design systems and component libraries.
