FP&A Specialist – Corporate

About the role

Malt is looking for an experienced FP&A Specialist to become the financial "source of truth" for the business. You will work closely with leadership, investors, and cross‑functional teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly investor reporting and support the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors decks.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly re‑forecasts together with Sales, Product and Marketing heads.
• Build long‑term strategic models (3‑year plan) and ad‑hoc models for pricing, market entry, or M&A analysis.
• Design, build and maintain the planning architecture in Pigment to ensure scalability.
• Partner with Data teams (Looker/SQL) and reconcile actuals with accounting for forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate controlling or transaction services, preferably in a Marketplace or SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow and revenue recognition.
• Excellent English communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non‑finance audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling in Excel.
• Experience with Pigment or similar EPM tools such as Anaplan or Vena.
• High proficiency in SQL and DBeaver.
• Familiarity with BI tools, especially Looker.
