Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support our French subsidiary, ensuring full compliance with French labour regulations and fostering positive industrial relations. The role combines remote stakeholder management with on‑site support for critical compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and localise HR policies in collaboration with the China headquarters, ensuring compliance with the French Labour Code and collective agreements across recruitment, contracts, compensation, benefits, working time, and off‑boarding.
• Manage daily communication with French social security bodies (Urssaf, CPAM, Carsat) via phone, email and online platforms.
• Attend CSE meetings, labour inspections and other on‑site events to support compliance and labour‑relations activities.
• Own the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, transfers, promotions, and off‑boarding – and act as the communication bridge between Chinese and local teams.
• Identify and resolve potential labour disputes, maintaining positive industrial relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in HR, Law or Management.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on HR experience in a French company, familiar with local recruitment channels and employment procedures.
• For Chinese candidates: fluent French (DALF C1) and English; for French candidates: fluent English, Chinese a plus.
