Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

The Cyber Security Specialist will lead the design, deployment and ongoing management of our security monitoring platform. You will ensure that log data from across the enterprise is collected, processed and analysed reliably to protect our digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage the full Splunk ecosystem, including forwarders, indexers and search heads.
• Develop and optimise parsing rules and data onboarding pipelines for diverse log sources.
• Maintain the integrity and continuity of event‑log collection, correlation and analysis processes.
• Control system and configuration changes in a structured, documented manner.
• Review, update and fine‑tune SIEM configurations as the network, server and application landscape evolves.
• Administer vulnerability‑scanning platforms and attack‑surface monitoring tools.
• Manage secret‑management solutions and produce high‑quality architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate and support cybersecurity tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant professional experience.
• At least three years in operational cyber‑defence (SOC, CSIRT, security assessment platforms, PKI, endpoint security).
• Two years leading major security‑related projects.
• One recognised ICT security certification.
• Strong written and oral English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Splunk and Cribl SIEM solutions.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and attack‑surface monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of secret‑management, Windows and Linux hardening, Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender and AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub.
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, email gateways, IPsec and remote‑access control.
• Expertise in security architecture, PKI and endpoint security.
