Country Finance Director

About the role

The Country Finance Director leads the finance function for the French market of a digital HR services company. Reporting to the Country CEO, this senior leader provides strategic financial guidance, ensures compliance with local and group standards, and drives performance across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor to the Country CEO and leadership team on performance, investments, pricing, resource allocation and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close and financial reporting in line with IFRS, local regulations and Group standards.
• Monitor revenue, margin, operating expenses, cash, working capital and investment metrics; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, internal‑control and audit requirements; coordinate with Internal Audit, Risk, Legal and Tax teams.
• Maintain robust financial governance, segregation of duties and approval workflows within the country finance perimeter.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing local finance team and champion best‑practice sharing across the Group.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership, preferably within a multinational or digital services environment.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, French accounting regulations and Group finance processes.
• Proven track record of managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and audit cycles.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and align local priorities with Group objectives.
