Clinical Research Nurse – Freelance (Home Visits)

About the role

The Clinical Research Nurse will support a global pharmaceutical study by conducting home‑based visits in the Narbonne area. Working on a freelance basis, you will ensure participants receive safe, protocol‑compliant care while collecting high‑quality data for the trial.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to participants’ homes to perform scheduled study assessments and follow‑ups.
• Measure vital signs, conduct physical examinations, and collect biological samples such as blood or swabs.
• Administer investigational medicines, injections, or other study interventions according to the protocol.
• Monitor patient safety, identify and report adverse events, and coordinate appropriate medical care.
• Record observations accurately in electronic case report forms and maintain source documentation.
• Educate participants on study procedures, answer questions, and promote adherence.
• Ensure all activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical guidelines.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in clinical research or clinical trial settings is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, travel within the Narbonne region, and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
• Proficiency with Electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) systems.
