Assistant Fleet Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Fleet Manager at Free2move, you will work directly with the Fleet Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of vehicles in the rental and mobility sector. You will gain hands‑on experience in maintenance tracking, dispute analysis, and on‑site defleeting operations within a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise vehicle maintenance, recall campaigns, and daily follow‑ups across garages, dealerships, and storage sites.
• Support vehicle tracking, recovery, and fleet reallocation processes.
• Assist the Reconditioning Manager during on‑site defleeting operations.
• Monitor mileage and economic indicators to align fleet performance with financial targets.
• Handle customer damage assessments, post‑insurance disputes, and re‑invoicing.
• Track operational KPIs using dedicated dashboards (maintenance lead times, logistics, FRE, etc.).
• Contribute to fleet renewal decisions, vehicle ordering, and remarketing strategies.

Required profile

• Technical degree (BAC +2 / BAC +3) with a strong passion for the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in the automotive after‑sales market; rental or lease experience is a plus.
• Professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• High personal accountability, autonomy, and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs).
• Experience using dashboard monitoring tools for KPI tracking.
