AI Trainer – Automotive Expertise Required

About the role

We are seeking a freelance AI Trainer with strong automotive knowledge to help improve machine‑learning models that assess vehicle damage. Working remotely from anywhere in the EU, you will review images of damaged cars, annotate the affected parts, and ensure high‑quality data for insurance claim automation.

Key responsibilities

• Examine vehicle damage photos and identify scratches, dents, cracks, missing parts, etc.
• Accurately label damaged components such as doors, bumpers, fenders, hoods, and related parts.
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines to maintain data consistency and quality.
• Support the creation and refinement of datasets used for AI model training and evaluation.
• Contribute to faster, more accurate insurance claim assessments through precise image labeling.
• Maintain productivity while working independently in a remote freelance environment.
• Participate in project updates or process‑improvement initiatives when required.

Required profile

• Professional experience in automotive fields (insurance claims, vehicle appraisal, auto repair, body shop, mechanics, dealerships, or parts).
• Strong ability to recognize vehicle damage types and automotive components.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured visual and written guidelines.
• Comfortable working independently and managing tasks remotely.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital annotation tools.
• Reliable, consistent, and quality‑oriented mindset.
• Resident of an EU member state.
• Previous experience with image annotation or AI training projects is a plus.
